Tsubaki is a Japanese alternative rock group formed in 2000 by frontman Isshiki
Noriyasu who moved to Tokyo for studies. The trio, consisting of bassist Ogawa
Hironaga and drummer Okamoto Naoko, adopted the name Tsubaki in October 2002
after a change from Camellia, and began releasing indie demos such as "Kimi to
Harukaze" and "Tabiji" in 2001. Their first commercial release, the mini-album
Mukougawa (4 December 2002), was followed by singles "Kuru Asa Moeru Mirai" (8
