Tryo
Tryo is a French reggae band whose balance of politically-charged lyrics,
comedic performances, and acoustic ska music has earned the group a number of
chart-topping releases in France and Belgium. The band was formed in Fresnes in
1995 by Manu Eveno (known as Manu) and Cyril Celestin (known as Guizmo).
Christophe Mali completed the group's initial lineup, and all three members
sharing guitar and vocal duties. Daniel 'Danielito' Bravo later joined as Tryo's
percussionist, and the band made its full-length debut with Mamagubida in 1998.
