Trocadero, an experimental rock band from Cambridge, Massachusetts, was formed in 1997. The group initially consisted of Nico Audy-Rowland, Brandon Erdos, and Susan Hsia. Trocadero's breakthrough came in 2003 when Nico Audy-Rowland sent a song to the creators of the web-series Red vs. Blue, which became its opening theme "Blood Gulch Blues". Their debut album, Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue: Soundtrack to Red vs. Blue, was released on June 1, 2003.
