Tripping Daisy was formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1990 by lead vocalist and
guitarist Tim DeLaughter, drummer Jeff Bouck, guitarist Wes Berggren, and
bassist Mark Pirro. The group's early sound blended rock with neo‑psychedelic
textures, and their first single, "Lost and Found", gained moderate local radio
play. After a series of local performances, the band released their debut album
Bill on Dragon Street Records in 1992, which was later reissued by Island
