Marc A. Trauffer, born on June 4, 1979 in Brienz in the canton of Bern, is a
Swiss dialect pop singer, musician and entrepreneur. He is known as the
"Alpentainer" and is known for his mixture of traditional Swiss folk music and
modern pop-rock. His career began with the band Airbäg, which he founded in
1995. Between 1998 and 2005, the band released four albums, which were
successful in the Swiss charts. After Airbäg disbanded in 2006, Trauffer
