Tracy Weber
Tracy Weber, born in 1957, was an American singer from New York City best known
for her posthumous dance hit "Sure Shot." Raised in Queens, Weber recorded the
disco single after songwriters Nicky Braddy and Richard Bassoff wrote it
specifically for her, with production by Eric Matthew and Gary Turnier.
Tragically, Weber was shot and killed in Harlem shortly before the record's
release in late 1981. Despite her death, "Sure Shot" became a major dance club
