Tracy Silverman
Tracy Silverman, born April 7, 1960 in Peekskill, New York, is an American
violinist, composer, and producer whose career began with a professional debut
at age 13 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. After leaving high school to
study at the Chicago Musical College and graduating from the Juilliard School in
1980, Silverman pioneered the six‑string electric violin with Mark Wood. His
discography as a leader included Trip to the Sun (1999), I’d Rather Be Dreaming
(2005), and Between the Kiss and the Chaos (2013). Silverman has also premiered
