Tokyo Karankoron, a five-member rock band from Japan, was formed in 2007 and
began activities with its current lineup in May 2009. The members were Ichiro,
Sensei, Oitan, Sato Zenbu, and Kamimu-shi. The band gained prominence in the
indie scene after releasing their second demo CD in June 2010, which topped
indie charts and was selected as a recommended item by Tower Records, leading to
nationwide distribution. Their first nationally distributed EP, Tokyo Karankoron
e.t. was released in October 2010, followed by their debut major-label EP
