Antonio de la Cuesta, known professionally as Tonino Carotone, was born on
January 9, 1970, in Burgos, Spain. He spent his childhood and youth in Barañáin
and Pamplona, Navarra. Before embarking on a solo career, he was part of the
folk-ranchero group Kojón Prieto y los Huajolotes, known for their humorous and
politically charged songs. Carotone's breakthrough came with the release of his
