Tonic Sol-fa is an American a cappella quartet from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul
region. Formed at St. John's University in Central Minnesota, they gained
national prominence with appearances on NBC's Today Show and in Newsweek
magazine. Their debut album, 4 hours and 12 days (1995), was self-produced. They
toured extensively throughout the US and abroad, sharing the stage with
