Pedro Antonio Rojas, Jr., known as Tonedeff, is an American rapper, producer,
singer-songwriter, and record executive born in Newport News, Virginia on
December 14, 1976. He began writing songs at nine and formed The RBM Crew in
1989 after moving to Miami. Tonedeff's breakthrough came in 1993 when he won a
national talent search on The Arsenio Hall Show. He recorded his debut solo
project, The Monotone EP, during his time at Full Sail Center for the Recording
