TOME
Töme, born Michelle Oluwatomi Akanbi in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on September
17, 1997, is a Nigerian-French Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress. Raised
in Brampton, Ontario, she began singing at age 8 and learned guitar at age 10.
She released her debut EP, One with Self, on SoundCloud in 2015, followed by her
EP Tömesroom: Chapter 1 in 2019. In 2020, she released her debut studio album,
Bigger Than Four Walls, on May 22, 2020, and released the single “I Pray”
