TOKAI
Tokai is a South Korean three-member indie band formed by Kwak Tae-poong
(vocals), Jin Soo-yong (drums), and Kim Doo-ha (guitar), who met while studying
at Baekseok University. The band debuted on January 25, 2025, with their first
full-length album burning., and the name “Tokai” comes from the bass guitar
brand played by Kim Doo-ha as well as a Japanese word meaning an underdeveloped
city, reflecting the members’ shared backgrounds. Known for their K-indie sound,
