Tim Garland (born 19 October 1966 in London Borough of Redbridge, Greater
London) is a British saxophonist, composer, keyboard player, flutist and
clarinetist whose work spans jazz and classical music. Tim Garland began on
clarinet and piano before taking up saxophone at fifteen, later studying jazz
and classical composition at the Guildhall School of Music. His first recording,
Points on the Curve (1988), marked the start of a prolific career. He released
