'Til Tuesday
'Til Tuesday is an American new wave band formed in Boston, Massachusetts. The
group consists of Aimee Mann on lead vocals and bass guitar, Robert Holmes on
guitar, Joey Pesce on keyboards, and Michael Hausman on drums. They gained
initial fame six months after their formation when they won the 1983 WBCN Rock &
Roll Rumble with their original composition "Love in a Vacuum", success which
led to a record deal with Epic Records. Their debut album, Voices Carry, was
released in June 1985 and featured the hit single "Voices Carry", which peaked
