Tigerstyle
Tigerstyle is a Scottish rock ensemble from Glasgow established in 1997. The
group consists of the musicians Raj Singh and Pops Singh. They achieved
professional recognition for a musical style characterized by folkhop, which
combines Punjabi folk with hip hop and electronic music. The ensemble was
founded after the musicians created the disc jockey collective Desi Bombsquad
Sound System. Their project name was inspired by Shaolin Tiger Style and the
martial art Gatka. Their recording career began with the studio recording The
Rising (2000) and the song “Nachna Onda Nei” (2000). ...
