Chiaki Hamahime, known professionally as TiA, was born on November 14, 1987, in
Yokohama, Japan. She is a Japanese pop singer with a mixed heritage, her father
being Japanese and her mother half German-American and half Japanese. At the age
of 16, TiA signed her first record deal with Epic Records after submitting demo
tapes to several companies. Her second single "Ryuusei" (Meteor) was released in
August 2004 and became one of the ending themes for the popular anime series
