Thy Art Is Murder
Thy Art Is Murder is an Australian deathcore band formed in 2006 in Blacktown,
Sydney. The group originally consisted of vocalist Brendan van Ryn, guitarists
Gary Markowski and Sean Delander, bassist Josh King, and drummer Lee Stanton. In
2008, the band released the EP Infinite Death which reached number 10 on the AIR
Charts. Their debut full-length album, The Adversary, followed in 2010. In 2012,
the group released the album Hate which reached number 35 on the ARIA Charts and
became the first extreme metal band to reach the top 40 of that chart.
