Thibault Cauvin
A classically trained guitarist, Thibault Cauvin has achieved international
renown for his interpretations of the Baroque repertoire and his covers of
popular themes from film and song. Born in Bordeaux on July 16, 1984, he began
playing guitar at the age of five with his father Philippe Cauvin, then studied
at the Bordeaux Conservatoire and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris,
where his teacher was Olivier Chassain. Winner of thirteen international first
prizes between 2002 and 2004, including the Andrès Segovia Competition in
