Themselves
Themselves is an American hip hop duo from Oakland, California, formed in 1998
by rappers and producers Doseone and Jel. Their debut album, Them (2000), was
followed by The No Music (2002), The Free Houdini mixtape (2009), and Crowns
Down (2009). The duo also released live albums and remix projects, including The
No Music of AIFFs (2003) and CrownsDown & Company (2010). Both members have been
involved in other projects, including Subtle and 13 & God. Their first album was
recognized by Fact as one of the "100 Best Indie Hip-Hop Records of All Time"
