The Wall, a punk rock band from Sunderland, England, formed in early 1978. Their
debut single "New Way" was released in April 1979 and gained significant
traction when it was played regularly by BBC Radio 1 disc jockey John Peel. The
band's lineup changed frequently, with notable members including Ivan Kelly and
Rab Fae Beith. Their first album Personal Troubles and Public Issues was
released in late 1980 to favorable reviews. The Wall toured extensively,
