The Universal Robot Band
The Universal Robot Band was formed in 1976 in the United States of America by
Patrick Adams and Gregory Carmichael, with Gregory Tolbert, Leroy Burgess, and
Woody Cunningham contributing keyboards, vocals, and drums. Their debut single
"Dance and Shake Your Tambourine" entered the Dance/Club Play Singles chart at
Number 25, reached Number 48 on the R&B Singles chart, and peaked at Number 93
on the Billboard Hot 100, establishing the group’s presence in the disco and
