The Twins

The Twins, a German synthpop band, were founded in West Berlin in 1980 and consisted of Ronny Schreinzer and Sven Dohrow. Their music was influenced by British bands such as Gary Numan's Tubeway Army and early Depeche Mode. The band's breakthrough came in 1983 with the single "Ballet Dancer", which hit number 2 on the charts. In the same year, the debut album A Wild Romamce (1983) was released, followed by Until the End of Time (1985). Other albums include Hold On To Your Dreams (1987) and The Impossible Dream (1993). In 2018, the band released Living for the Future (2018).
