The Tigerlillies
The Tiger Lillies, a British musical trio formed in 1989 by singer-songwriter
Martyn Jacques. Their unique sound, blending pre-war Berlin cabaret with punk,
gained attention quickly. The band's breakthrough came with their 1999 release
Shockheaded Peter, which won the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, and
Martyn Jacques won the Olivier for Best Supporting Performance in a Musical or
