The Suicide Machines is an American ska punk band formed in March 1991 in
Detroit, Michigan. The band initially released demos The Essential Kevorkian and
Green World before signing to Hollywood Records in 1996 and releasing their
debut album, Destruction by Definition. They followed with albums like Battle
Hymns (1998) and Steal this Record (2001), touring extensively. After lineup
changes and a move to SideOneDummy Records, they released politically charged
