The Sidekicks
The Sidekicks were an American indie rock band from Cleveland formed in 2006.
The band consisted of Steve Ciolek, Toby Reif, Ryan Starinsky, and Matt Climer.
Their recordings include the albums So Long, Soggy Dog (2007) and Weight of Air
(2009), which featured a high-energy sound. The group shifted toward pop
sensibilities with the album Awkward Breeds (2012). Subsequent recordings
include the album Runners in the Nerved World (2015), produced by Phil Ek, and
the album Happiness Hours (2018), produced by John Agnello. The band disbanded
in 2022.
