The Scumfrog
Jesse Houk (born 3 October 1971 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Dutch‑American
producer and DJ who performs under the alias The Scumfrog. After completing his
studies, Houk moved to New York City in 1997, where he began DJing deep house
and tech house in the East Village and released his first single "We Love You"
in 2001, which reached Number 1 on several European dance charts. In 2002 he
issued the duet with David Bowie "Loving The Alien", followed by Simmer (2004),
the latter featuring the single "Music Revolution" that appeared in a Chevrolet
