The Savage Rose
The Savage Rose, a Danish rock group, was formed in 1967 by brothers Thomas
Koppel, Anders Koppel, and Alex Riel. Their debut album, The Savage Rose, was
released in 1968. In the same year, they released In the Plain, which included
the hit "Long Before I Was Born" and boosted their international recognition.
The group performed at notable events such as the Newport Jazz Festival in 1969
and the Montreux Festival in 1970. They continued to evolve musically, releasing
