The Pirates
The Pirates was a British pub rock band from London formed in 1976. The group
was a continuation of the band Johnny Kidd & the Pirates and featured Mick
Green, Johnny Spence, and Frank Farley. Their debut recording was a re-recording
of the song “Shakin' All Over” (1976). Recognition increased with the live album
Out of Their Skulls (1977) which reached number 57 in the United Kingdom.
Subsequent recordings include the singles “I'll Never Get Over You” (1977) and
