The Party
The Party is an American pop band formed in 1990, comprising Albert Fields,
Tiffini Hale, Chase Hampton, Deedee Magno Hall, and Damon Pampolina. The group
originated from The All New Mickey Mouse Club and was created as part of a
Disney Channel initiative to form a pop band. A name-the-band contest resulted
in "The Party," which stood for "Positive Attitude Reflects Today's Youth."
Their debut self-titled album, was released in August 1990 on Hollywood
Records, featuring the single "Summer Vacation" which peaked at number 72 on the
