The Paper Chase
The Paper Chase was an American alternative rock band formed in 1998 in Dallas,
Texas by producer/engineer John Congleton, who wrote and produced most of their
material. Their debut release was Essays On: Frantic Desperation, Anihilation,
and from Another Passerby. in 1998. The Paper Chase signed with Kill Rock Stars
and Southern Records and released several albums, including Young Bodies Heal
Quickly, You Know (2000), Hide the Kitchen Knives (2002), and God Bless Your
Black Heart (2004). Notable collaborations included co-writes with Bobby Weaver
