The Ordinary Boys, formed in Worthing, West Sussex, United Kingdom in 2002,
began as a punk‑influenced pop band led by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Samuel
Preston. Their early work, including the single "Maybe Someday" in 2004,
established a local following. In 2004 the group released their debut album Over
the Counter Culture under B‑Unique, which spawned the track "Over the Counter
Culture" that appeared in the soundtrack for Burnout 3: Takedown. The 2005 album
Brassbound featured the single "Boys Will Be Boys", which was re‑issued in 2006
