The Milk Carton Kids
The Milk Carton Kids, an American indie folk duo from Eagle Rock, Los Angeles,
consisting of singer-guitarists Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan, began their
musical journey in early 2011. After meeting at a solo performance by Kenneth
Pattengale, the duo released Retrospect, a live album recorded at Zoey's Cafe in
Ventura, California. They joined Joe Purdy’s North American tour as his opening
act and backing band. The Milk Carton Kids released their first studio album,
Prologue, in 2011, which was well-received by critics and featured the song
