The Mastersons
The Mastersons, an American alternative country duo consisting of Chris
Masterson and Eleanor Whitmore, hail from Brooklyn, New York. Both born in
Texas, they began their musical careers as supporting musicians before forming
The Mastersons in 2012. Masterson toured with Son Volt while Whitmore played
fiddle for Kelly Willis; they met at a 2006 Steamboat Springs music festival and
married in 2009. Their debut album, Birds Fly South, was released in 2012,
