The Lemon Fog
The Lemon Fog, an American garage/psychedelic rock band from Houston, Texas,
formed from the remnants of the Rip Chords. After a win in a local battle of the
bands and with help from producer-songwriter Jimmy Duncan, the group signed with
Orbit Records and released the single "Lemon Fog" in 1967, followed by "Summer /
Girl From the Wrong Side of Town" in 1968. The band disbanded 1970 due to
conflicts and drug abuse. The 2011 album The Psychedelic Sound Of Summer With
The Lemon Fog compiled the band's entire recorded output.
