The Innocents
The Innocents is an Australian power pop band formed in Hobart, Tasmania in
1975. The group was founded by singer-songwriters David Minchin, Charles Touber,
Greg Cracknell, and drummer Brent “Beep” Jeffrey, who originally performed under
the name Beathoven. Their debut single “Do You Remember the Time / Darlin'”
generated a local fan base and led to school dance tours and lunchtime concerts
across the East coast of Australia. Under the name Beathoven, they also released
