The Grimm
The Grimm is an American garage rock band formed in Salt Lake City, Utah, in
1961. Centered around singer and guitarist Greg Ericksen, the band includes
Tommy Hopkins (guitar), Brett Raymond (keyboards), Levi Wunderlich (bass), and
Joel Stevenett (drums). The band gained recognition on the local scene and
evolved under the combined influences of the British Invasion and garage rock,
and later psychedelia. Two singles were released in 1969 on the SVN Records
label, “The Darkness and the Night” and “The Begger”, before the band broke up.
