The Gents
The Gents is an English rock ensemble from Doncaster established in 1980. The
group consists of the musicians Martin Burton, Steve Chambers, Glyn Davies, and
Steve Kendell. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style
characterized as mod revival. The ensemble was founded as a cover band
performing songs by the ensemble the Who, the Jam, and Madness. They achieved
professional recognition for winning the EMI Tetley Supergroup competition in
