The Gadjits
The Gadjits, an American ska and rock and roll band from Kansas City, Missouri,
were formed in 1995 by brothers Brandon, Zach, and Adam Phillips. They released
their debut album, Da Gravy on Yo' Grits, in 1996 through their own label JoCo
Ska Records, gaining local success. In 1997, the band signed with Hellcat
Records and released their second album, At Ease. After parting ways with
Hellcat Records in 2001, they released the EP Yes I Are and signed with Thick
Records, where they released their fourth album, Today is My Day (2002). In
2003, The Gadjits were signed by RCA Records ...
