The Funk Hunters
The Funk Hunters, a Canadian electronic DJ duo composed of Nick Middleton and
Duncan Smith, formed in Vancouver after meeting at the Gulf Islands Film and
Television School in 2008. They began performing regularly at festivals such as
Shambhala Music Festival starting in 2009. Their breakthrough came with the
release of "Do This for You" featuring Chali 2na in 2014. In 2020, the duo
received Road Gold certification from the Canadian Independent Music Association
for exceeding twenty-five thousand ticket sales domestically in a single year
