The Frames
The Frames, an Irish rock band based in Dublin, was formed in 1990 by Glen
Hansard. The band established their presence with the album Another Love Song in
1992. Their second album, Fitzcarraldo, was released in 1995 and laid the
groundwork for subsequent releases such as Dance the Devil... (1999), For the
Birds (2001), and The Cost (2006). The 2006 single "Falling Slowly" earned an
Academy Award for Best Original Song. In 2007, The Frames toured extensively,
supporting Bob Dylan. In 2015, the album Longitude was issued.
