The Fevers are a Brazilian rock, new wave, and soul ensemble from Rio de Janeiro, formed in 1964. The original members are Almir Bezerra, Liebert Ferreira, Lécio do Nascimento, Pedrinho da Luz, and Cleudir Borges. Initially known as Conjunto Young and The Fenders, the group adopted the name The Fevers in 1965 after the Elvis Presley song “Fever”. The ensemble released their debut studio album, The Fevers, in 1965. Their subsequent discography includes the albums Os Reis do Baile (1969) and A explosão musical dos FeversPara Todos (1971).
