The Exploited, a Scottish punk rock band from Edinburgh, formed in 1978. The
group initially comprised Wattie Buchan on vocals and several other members who
would evolve over time. Their early music blended classic punk rock with
elements of punk hardcore and oi!, creating a fast-paced and energetic sound.
