The Expendables
The Expendables, an American reggae rock band from Santa Cruz, California, was
formed in 1997 by Geoff Weers on vocals and guitar, Raul Bianchi on lead guitar,
and Adam Patterson on drums. The trio initially performed as a "party band,"
covering surf rock songs for local events. In 2000, Ryan DeMars joined on bass,
completing the quartet's laid-back surf sound. Their debut album No Time To
Worry was released in January 2001, followed by Open Container in January 2002.
