The Elders, originally known as The Elderberries, is a French rock group formed
in Clermont-Ferrand. The band was founded by Chris Boulton on vocals, Tom Pope
and Jamie Pope on guitar and bass respectively, both English, Ryan Sutton on
guitar from Canada, and Yann Clavaizolle on drums from France. Mike Pougehon
later joined as an additional guitarist. The group began performing at local
schools, covering songs by bands like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Hives, Black
