The Eames Era was an American indie pop band formed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana,
in 2002 by New Orleans guitarists Grant Widmer and Ted Joyner. The quintet
initially consisted of Widmer, Joyner, drummer Greg Gauthreaux, bass player
Brian Waits, and singer Ashlin Phillips. The band's name honored famed designers
Charles and Ray Eames. In 2004, they released their first EP, Second EP, which
included the track "Could Be Anything" that gained significant airplay on
college radio stations nationwide and was featured on television shows such as
