The Dwarves
The Dwarves, an American punk rock band, were formed in Chicago, Illinois in
1983. The core members, Blag Dahlia and HeWhoCannotBeNamed, began their musical
journey as teenagers in the garage punk outfit Suburban Nightmare. Their early
career saw them evolve from a psychedelic sound to hardcore punk, releasing
albums such as Blood Guts & Pussy (1990) on Sub Pop and Thank Heaven For Little
Girls (1991). The band gained notoriety for their controversial lyrics and
