The Du Droppers
The Du Droppers were an American doo-wop group formed in Harlem, New York, in
1952. The original members included Caleb "J.C." Ginyard on lead vocals, Willie
Ray and Harvey Ray on tenor and baritone, and Eddie Hashaw on bass. All members
had extensive experience as gospel singers before forming the Du Droppers. In
September 1952, they released their debut single "Can't Do Sixty No More" on Red
Robin Records. The group left Red Robin for RCA Records in 1953, where they
