The Devil Dogs
The Devil Dogs was an American garage punk ensemble formed in 1989 in New York
City. The group consisted of Andy Gortler, Steve Baise, and Paul Corio. Gortler
and Baise previously performed in the band Rat Bastards and regrouped following
that band's dissolution. Drummer Mighty Joe Vincent joined the ensemble in 1991.
The group released its debut studio recording, Devil Dogs, in 1989 through Crypt
Records. Its discography included the studio recordings Big Beef Bonanza (1990)
and Saturday Night Fever (1993). The ensemble became inactive in late 1994.
