The Crows (formed 1951, in Harlem) was an American R&B vocal ensemble. The original lineup consisted of Daniel “Sonny” Norton, William “Bill” Davis, Harold Major, Jerry Wittick, and Gerald Hamilton. In 1952, Mark Jackson replaced Wittick. The group gained recognition for the single "Gee", which was released in 1953 as the B-side to "I Love You So". The recording peaked at number 2 on the Billboard R&B chart and number 14 on the pop chart in 1954. The discography featured subsequent singles such as "Call a Doctor", "Baby", and "Miss You".
